@jkl1041 My male is only 5-6 inches, and the biggest they get... I've had RES and Snaps and the Texas is by far the best turtle... He's active on the bottom, comes to the top at feeding time, just seems to have a better personality than the others.... Good luck

im curious.. whats the average yearly upkeep to maintain this tank? (with turtle only)

I really don't do that much... The filter is great and I probably change the filter stuff every 3 months and it costs ~$10.

Really nice tank set-up the texas map he has nice markings and shell...I have an ultra hypo red ear slider...Nice collection of fish as well I have platties mollies and a chiclid as well...
