"Triad Dimensions" is taken from the "Duesseldorf , German" band, "Rheingold's" 4 song "Mini LP", "Fan Fan Fanatic" on Harvest Records in 1982.
The mini lp was a marketing tool from 1981 til about 1986 from the record labels during the "New Wave" explosion in the United States.
Mini-LPs became popular in the early 1980s with record companies who targeted consumers who were reluctant to buy full-length and full-priced albums. Several mini-LPs had been released in the late 1970's & the format was usually 12-inch or 10-inch vinyl, with a playing time of between twenty and thirty minutes, and around seven tracks. They were often used as a way of introducing new acts to the market, such was the case for "Rheingold" & their "Fan Fan Fanatic" mini lp which was comprised of their 2 British 12" singles & their B sides.
Sadly, the Fan Fan Fanatic mini lp was Rheingold's only release in the States.
Rheingold released 3 albums in their native Germany on EMI Records.
