Synopsis
Ju-Mong was the founder of Goguryeo in 37 BC. He was the son of General Hae Mo Su and Lady Yoo Hwa and was raised by King Geum Wa who took him and his mother in when Hae Mo Su was believed to have been killed in an ambush by the Han Dynasty. Soh Suh No was a merchant's daughter who helped Ju Mong in realizing his dream to build a new country and later became his second wife.

the only relation i know is that those two serials had Song Il Guk as the lead actor..btw, i havent seen "Kingdom of the wind" yet...

@sunshine0177 it is directly related, NOT series wise, but HISTORY wise, Jumong is King Yuri's father, and Yuri's son in the series is played by the same person who played Jumong in the Jumong series...so series wise its indirect, but history wise its direct.

@strawberryme87 Yes, it continues where Jumong left off... I watched it already... then I found out that Jumong was the 1st part. Kingdom of the Wind is the 2nd part and there is also a 3rd part that I haven't found yet. Kingdom of the Wind continues with Jumong's son, Yuri and Yuri's son (Jumong's grandson) Muyul. I didn't cry with Jumong, but I wept with Kingdom of the Wind.
