This video explains the 5 positions of the E Minor Pentatonic Scale. There are 5 patterns. Once you learn these patterns you will not only know how to play the E minor pentatonic scale all the way up the neck but you will also be able to use the same patterns in different spots to play other minor pentatonic scales all the way up and down the neck.
Basically after this lesson you will know every minor pentatonic scale all the way up and down the neck of the guitar.

Major Scales next.

  • by the way you sould have just stuck with naming which frets not the fingers

  • @fcoll9123

I should actually watch this video to see what you are talking about but since I do not have time to make videos right now that is not going to happen.

Thanks for the advise though its important to realize your statements may feel right to you but everyone learns differently and what makes sense to you might confuse someone else and visa versa. Again not sure if that even applies because I don't feel like watching the video right now lol

FYI not posting your last comment

  • you took waaaayyyy to long explaining the first position.

    but good video

  • @fcoll9123

I can get into very slow and detailed explanations and while it can annoy some people others are grateful. Generally people that already know guitar feel it is slow but people learning think its great.

  • simple, clear and concise! Thank you so much for the great lesson!

  • @elanabanana1

    my pleasure
