BoF4 does have a few points where fishing is easier than 3. Most notably the river spots where you can just stand next to the waterfall and cast parallel with it and repeatedly bring in fish. On the other hand, in 3 you can at least see the shadows of the fish and just drag different lures over their heads until they bite, and you can kind of guess the fish before you hook it. I just started replaying 4 and I'm trying to hook a spearfish. So far 6 whales, 6 bonitos, 5 octos, and no luck.

Yeah, seemed as painful as any other fishing minigame. Maybe more.

Oh they come back....But you can't catch fish as fast as you can back in BoF3.
