  • i like the paint job wat is it

  • It is House of Kolors Kandy Pagan Gold. The car has 12 coats of paint on it :)

  • Well you're very close it was "The poor man's 'vette" But I could have had a 'vette for what it cost me to make mine like this :) and yes it is a German car. Opel still mfrs cars over there. As a matter of fact, before they stopped making them a Saturn Sky over here was a new Opel GT over there. Just badged differently.

  • very nice, i picked up on the "missing" sound and thought you had the req_fuel way up, but that was untill i read that you did your cams- sounds very healthy- do you have a hp figure yet?

  • @preludefan

There is another short video of the car on a chassis dyno, it produced 122 WHP @ 6800 RPM which translates to about 170 HP @ the flywheel.

  • How is the motor running with no spark plug wires,THE DISTRIBUTOR IS CLEARLY VISIBLE WITH NO WIRES ON IT !

  • The distributor is installed because the oil pump drive gear is on the bottom of the shaft, I have since cut the top of the distributor off so it no longer looks weird. The car, as stated in the title is running off of a Ford EDIS4 ignition system. There are spark plug wires installed, they are just not connected to the distributor, they are connected to the EDIS4 Coils. The engine has a trigger wheel mounted to the damper pulley and the timing comes from it.

  • @markandsonmetal <---- noob

  • Fuck, that's a real car...

  • I can`t belive Opel made such a beautiful car...

  • Have you thought of a carbon fiber driveshaft for it? PST makes carbon fiber driveshafts. They're out of Florida. They should have some of the best prices around for a quality driveshaft. They quoted me ~$500 for my '94 Mustang.

  • Don't they call these the poor mans corvette back in the day? lol I love these cars their made in Germany arn't they?
