Bahrain Fashion Week (BFW) is fast becoming an attraction for designers regionally and internationally by delivering a multinational and diverse fashion experience. After the closure of the BFW 2009 season, BFW has established itself as a highly successful and widely recognized event providing a forum to nurture and celebrate the fashion industry in Bahrain and it's neighbouring countries. Held at the Moda Mall (Bahrain World Trade Centre) over 25 designers, jewellers and brands were showcased from Netherlands, Ukraine, UK, India, Pakistan and of course Bahrain establishing Bahrain Fashion Week as a pioneer the fashion industry both locally and internationally a first for the region apart from the UAE.
This year BFW focuses on promoting and establishing the Kingdom of Bahrain as a prestigious fashion capital not only the GCC but also on a global scale. The 3 day event will include several fashion shows showcasing established and aspiring designers and fashion houses. The event this year also finds the addition of the FASHION AND LIFESTYLE SHOW a mini- expo over the same 3 days aimed at promoting new and aspiring designers entrepreneurs in the industry in the field of fashion accessories beauty products; handicrafts; etc.; Additionally in continuing tradition the "Emerging Talent" section will be on the last day of the event where the students in the field of fashion will be given the centre stage to showcase the best of their designs.

WHAT ARE THE EVENT'S OBJECTIVES?
To give a single platform and direct interaction between designers and the audience.
To place Bahrain in the international fashion limelight.
To benefit the social and tourist sectors of the country by encouraging international guests, designers, press and fashion professionals to visit and experience Bahrain. This in addition helps to improve the economic sector of the country as well.
To benefit, involve and encourage youth development of the country by giving light to the "Emerging Talent" present here on the island.
To improve and further develop the fashion industry of the country.
WHAT IS THE EMERGING TALENT SECTION?
This will be held on Friday 19th November. In keeping with our event objectives to develop the region fashion industry this segment aims to provide a complimentary platform for underprivileged and/or new and studying designers in the local and region market. The "Emerging Talent" Fashion Show will showcase the best of their collections on an international level with full support. This is open to all schools universities and workshops that encourage and help develop and educate the fashion industry of the country in addition this is also open to potential fashion designers who have a desire to showcase a preview of their collection.
WHO ARE THE ORGANISERS
Lotus Pi is a multi-service fashion and lifestyle agency specializing in marketing, advertising events and public relations. The passion-driven members of the agency have worked with top PR, Marketing and Advertising Agencies around the world in New York, London; Paris, Ukraine; Canada and of course Bahrain. Their most recent projects include major corporate concerts for Exhibitions; Launch Events for the leisure industry and the recently conducted Bahrain City Centre Fashion Festival 2010.
