wasps can sting as much as they want like bumblebees, only an idiot knows otherwise. And its onlt female bumbles who can sting, males dont even have a stinger.

Yalls it probably was a queen or maybe a worker looking for protein to feed the larvae back at the nest. The wing muscle of flying insects are very high in protein and are very good for the larvae.

@gregerdeg. so can bumblebees, its the honey bees that have barbs on their stingers not bumblebees. The wasp in this case was probably a queen just starting her nest. The wing muscles of flying insects are very high in protein and would feed her larvae well. She probably just collected that and left the rest of the bee behind and eventually probably found another sucker,lol until she has enough workers and they would then go out and do the same thing for her.

I just saw the exact same thing in my backyard!
But I kicked the wasp's ASS with a stick before it could finish off the bumblebee.

I often think these people who film wildlife must feel like stopping the carnage they have to film. especially if they have been following a family around for a while.
