this may as wel be labled dirty pretty things.. and the guy who wrote "no you idiot. The Libertines are a band together, no individuals, you're not a fan if you say that" is kida stupid.. yes they are a band tgether not individuals .. but how does this disagree that there not as good with out 25% of the band :S.. and he does half the vocals on this track.. and its about him and carl.. and look what happend to DPT.. pete on the other hand has done very well.. soo.. you kno lol

The chemistry between Pete and Carl is required for either of them to be as good as they were. I've seen Babyshambles, and Pete solo live, and although he was still brilliant, he's better with Carl.

Carl on the other hand doesn't have the songwriting ability to succeed on his own. He can sing, he can play, and he's a good frontman, but needs Pete as much as Pete needs him.

Basically, they need to reunite!

This song, needs two people singing it (Pete and Carl of course, but even if it were to be covered, it should have two). The lyrics show an argument and an appeal to come back together between the two. Without the exchange, its missing something.

And yeah, they were both better together, obviously. But why are so many people down on DPT? I liked them, even if a few songs on the second album (like its only single) were awful. Most were very good.
