Chantilly High School Touch of Class - America's Favorite Show Choir

Congratulations TOUCH OF CLASS and the entire TOUCH OF CLASS family for being named winners of PARADE MAGAZINE'S search for AMERICA'S FAVORITE SHOW CHOIR. After thousands of nominations, more than 50,000 votes, Touch of Class has been named AMERICA'S FAVORITE SHOW CHOIR.

The medley form "Hair" was performed at the 23rd Annual presentation of Jazz & Pizzazz featuring the Chantilly High School Touch of Class show choir and the music performed by the Chantilly Jazz.

"Touch of Class" is entering its 25th season of performance excellence. These highly skilled and dedicated students provide an outstanding professional stage show that makes a memorable and lasting impression.

Throughout its history, Touch of Class has performed in numerous presentations, including radio and television appearances, regional and national conferences, conventions and major concert events. Every Memorial Day weekend, "Touch of Class," in conjunction with the award-winning Chantilly Jazz Band, closes its performance season with the two-hour musical review "Jazz and Pizzazz," thrilling more than 3,000 audience members with an extravaganza of music, song and dance.

Touch of Class has received tremendous recognition as Grand Champion of the Central Virginia Show Choir Invitational, the North Carolina Show Choir Invitational, the Blue Ridge Show Choir Invitational, the Mid-Atlantic Show and Jazz Choir Festival, the Fiesta-Val Music Festivals and the American Music Festivals.

In addition, Touch of Class has represented the state of Virginia in 12 national competitions. Performance venues have included The Ford Center for the Performing Arts Oriental Theatre in Chicago, Il., the Will Rogers Theater in Branson, Mo., the Copley Symphony Hall in San Diego, Ca., the Main Stage of Disney World's American Gardens Theatre, the Hard Rock Theatre in Orlando, Fl., and Washington D.C.'s own Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

This past year, Touch of Class earned a first-place superior rating at the Heritage Festivals in Orlando, and Second Runner Up in the first-ever FAME Show Choir Festival in Washington, D.C. Touch of Class is a proud member of the Chantilly High School Fine Arts and Music Department - recipients of numerous "Downbeat Magazine" awards, the Virginia State Blue Ribbon Award for Excellence in Music, and The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences Grammy Signature School Award.
