Paul Kaye with the 08:00 news on Big L. The station ceased broadcasting three days later on August 14 at 15:00 in order to comply with the British Government's Marine, etc., Broadcasting Offences Act. The only station to continue after that date was Caroline, which changed it's name to Radio Caroline International at midnight.

  • Happy days indeed. The reassuringly calm and familiar sound of "Paul Kaye reporting" also featuring the manic unforgettable "Double D" - Dave Dennis.

  • BIG L...SUPERB STUFF...HAPPY DAYS

  • It was a warship once. A former US Minesweeper renamed the MV Galaxy.

Now gone forever despite attempts to salvage the old girl rotting away in Holland.
