The video starts at Hanbury Wharf where the Junction Canal joins with the Worcester & Birmingham. It passes through Droitwich into the beautiful countryside around Salwarpe, Ladywood and Porter's Mill, finally arriving at the River Severn. Accompanying music is arranged and performed by Stephen Wake. The plan is for the Junction and Barge canals to be fully restored within the next three years.

It shows the beauty of the england that is fast dissapearing, lets hope thats not the case. Droitwich and the surrounding areas should be captured on film for future posterity.

@debbieearp I've just walked along the Vines Park section and it is crammed full of boats. Around 65 I'm told, all there for the grand opening on Friday. I never thought I'd see the day.

i never knew the local churches and canals were so enjoyable to watch. i hope that there are more videos that show off our amazing scenery on the way.

We were remarking on what a beautiful area we live in just today. This is supposed to be a trilogy if we get any winter to speak of. Need some ice and snow.
