  • Aside from showing the before and after effects, are there any benefits to taping off sections? Also, which DA buffer do you have? Btw, very helpful videos!

  • @philboy521 Well mainly you would tape off trim pieces, like rubber and plastic. I have a meguiars da buffer with three different types of pads.

  • one question, what strength clay do you use? my car is stil fairly new and i dont want something too strong but just enough to get the paint work cleaned up. im just like you, i take hrs to clean my car but i havent clayed a car ever in my life, only buff, wax/polish,, cheers great videos man keep it up

  • @fpvgtking I think my clay bar is medium strength, although I don't pay too much attention to that because while you are claying the car, you get the feel for how much should be done. Claying is very easy! Don't let it intimidate you, just go for it!

  • All the detail just seems like so much work! I mean I love my OBP STi but I don't really have the time to detail it every week. Yet I hate how dirty it always looks. I've scratched the heck out of my paint before realizing what I was doing. It sucks! I appricate the detail brake down though thanks a lot. I think I'm going to go detail my car now...

  • @vtec526 I don't do this every week. I barely wash my car every week. This full detail takes me 8-10 hours.

  • such a beautiful vehicle

  • lol @ dealer washing your car. Must suck. Awesome video, and car!

  • Wow your videos helped, really helpful. Nice car

  • Yo do u use a PC-7424? it looks like one...

  • hey man i was wondering at @3:00 why did you take it to the dealer? im a new viewer so i would like to know

  • Hey onbooSTi, do be aware that telling people to use a cut compound without any basis on what it is really meant for could be hazardous. Remember that "cuts" can be extremely invasive to the clear coat, and should be used as sparingly -in a cars life- as possible. Also, not working a cut product long enough could fail to let the product break down, which can easily cause more marring before you even get to the finish polish. Just some FYI. Nice job overal though!

  • @onbooSTihooning I need to detail my vehicle but what do you think of the product Xzilon? The outside not the inside. The inside product is basically scotchguard and the leather treatment is pure mink oil. Oh yeah don't forget to wax your headlights so they don't fade after a few years. Goddammit my car needs to get done. -.-

  • great videos! much appreciated
