In case you did't knew, Stalin was a bloody tyrant who COULD do anything he want - including starving millions of Ukrainians to death (Great Famine in the 30's) or taking Konigsberg (today: Kaliningrad) for Russia, though the city had absolutely nothing to do Russia.

Overall, you are Lithuanian, so your culture and way of "thinking" is based on myth and lies. Lithuanian nobility got polonised, those who stayed Lithuanians were dumb peasants - and this fact has it's consequences.

And as for Stalin - he hated Poles and hated Poland, because he was a army commander in the 1920 war, in which Poland defeated the soviets. On the other hand, Lithuanians were the little soviet collaborators, who cooperated with the soviets on many occasions. And that's why Stalin gave you the city.

It was not only about language, these people considered Lithuania to be a part, a province of Poland. Good example was Mickiewicz, whose name Lithuanians liars deform as "Mickievicius" or something - he wrote "Lithuania my homeland", but he wrote that in Polish AND he was organizing a Polish army in Italy and wrote a political work "A collection of principles or a Political symbol of Poland".

@Mik80PL No1 became poles they always sayd they are lithuanians, using language doesnt transform u.They were marked as poles cus they used lang, and stil lthat language was half russian half polish.City is 700years capital of lithuania.Stalin gave it back to Lithuania cus it was simple logic that this city and its history and people belongs to Lithuania cus it was multinational.Poland has no rights in this city thats why its marked as occupation.

1) Which Poles are "real" and which are not? Were Pilsudski or Zeligowski real Poles? They were both born in old GDL territory, not the old Kingdom of Poland territory. In reality, the majority of GDL's nobility and many of the peasants became Poles, not only in language, but also in self-determination and culture.

2) "Thats why this city in LTU" - WRONG. The city is in LT, because Stalin gave it to you. The original citizens were resettled (Polish) or murdered (Jewish).

What you are saying is simply silly. The percentage of Lithuanians in Wilno/Vilnius was very small, it was 2.6% before Polish rule, and was even smaller in 1939, BUT it was still a few thousands of people, quite enough for showing "enthusiastic crowd".

Really, go read the book "1939(...)" by Sarunas Liekis, who is actually Lithuanian. Go read and learn how Lithuanian propaganda lied to it's own people, and how the people of Wilno/Vilnius treated Lithuanians as foreign invaders.
