I could write this shit. This is so unoriginal compared to their earlier works. All it sounds like is some untalented people playing on untuned, whiny guitars and adding in some muddy synthesizer bullshit. Wayne Coyne sounds like he's piss drunk and they recorded his distant echo inside a cave. This is simply a shitty album. This is coming from someone who really liked their other stuff like Yoshimi, War With the Mystics, and the Soft Bulletin.

honey, youre just paranoid...lol...theres no Doors rip off here. this IS a powerful piece and def one of my favorites on this album (which is genius) and btw....thats Wayne on this excellent solo. Its not excellent in the way of skill but rather exicution. its perfect for this song. This is one of the most inovative bands on the planet and deserve all the credit they get. making music for the future

Embryonic is blowing me away. At first listen, I wasn't overwhelmingly impressed. The more I listen, the more hauntingly psychedelic the album becomes. Personally, I think this is another milestone in the band's career. On a side note, I recently received my "no one is ever really powerless" Flaming Lips t-shirt. I've been rocking it all across town. What a great song and band to support. Man, I love these guys!
