peavey vypyr live gig

the band is eric hall and the rock bottom band eric is the one moveing around stage john chapman is on bass trevor farer on drums hes only 21 but damn he can play of course me on lead and tha conga man i cant remember his name i do know it starts with a b and hes from the dallas area the song is a muddy waters tune called 19 years old this video serves a few purposes 1 it shows how well the vypyr 30 dose in a live situation it is miced but most of the sound you hear is from the amp its self barely had it cracked open on the volume knob and 2 it shows how the organ sound can be used in a live situation to break up what would otherwise be a long boreing guitar solo and 3 it shows what a seasoned musician like myself can do with a rig that costs less than 300 bucks the amp was 199 and the guitar was 60 and i would like to say thank you to the camera operator that missed the intro to tha song

Hey was this with a SS vypyr or the hybrid tube one?

It is really hard to tell with these little computer speakers lol. I hear a little SS scratch in there I could be wrong but sounds like the SS version. Also what size amp were you using if you don't mind me asking.

I feel sorry for you pal. You need to practice & quit preaching your garbage about playing half the notes with twice the feel cause any good musician knows it's a pawn. Playing any style of music is about self expression & the mastering of an art, always will be...whether it be fast, slow, simple or flashy. You need to step up sometime & put all your bragging to the test... but if we were in a blues competition together, you'd be beating something but I can promise ya it won't be me!

hmm i dont recall makin fun of the way you play as i recall i said yer fancy fast playing is perdy but it aint blues and yet you call me smug and yer tha one who entered a blues contest and didnt play blues you played rock to a blues backing track look chief bottom line is if you and i were in the same blues guitar contest on the same nite i would beat you ill admit you have better technical ability but i can convey more feeling with fewer notes than you any day of the week and twice on sunday

Has anyone had any weird sounds come out of the amp when it is on but the volume of the amp & guitar is completely turned down??? I've had this amp for a yr & to be exact it's a 30W. & im around a lot of mics & other wires all the time but im not so sure what can be causing this feedback very recently??
