Now you chillins with your iPads and your interwebs remember that this sketch was written loong before the information age. With that being said, this sketch was really ahead of its time! Nowadays, we think nothing of how vulnerable our "privaleged" information can be to hackers or really anyone who'd like to access it (that is if they have the know-how) but back in the sixties it was a whole different ballgame.

Funny stuff. Hard to believe that's about 44 years ago now. It's rather sad that Lily came to despise her most popular creation. I saw her perform live once. She had introduced many other characters into her show, but saved Ernestine for the end. "I suppose THIS is the crap you all came to see," she snarled, before launching Ernestine at the conclusion.

These days it is Time Warner. This morning I got awakened at 8AM, so they could pretend some more that a software problem on their end about 3-4 weeks ago was a hardware problem on my end. Probably because if I had agreed to have them send someone out, they could charge me for that as well. I hate Time Warner. We never had problems with the phone service when thse videos were made, but these days telecommunications really is unrelaible. So much for privitization! One thing's the same--no choice.
