The 1992 U of Delaware basketball team was the school's first to reach the NCAA tourmanent, via their North Atlantic Conference tournament championship.

Though the Hens exited the tourney in the first round, losing to Cinicinnatyi, their 27-4 record remains the best all-time for Delaware's program, which has never since seen as deep and talented a roster as this one.
