Teenage Street Prostitute Unsolved Murder in OKC

In the early days of June 2004, JohnTV videotaped 19 year old Kara Fuller as she prostituted near SE 45th and South Shields Blvd. in Oklahoma City. Within 48 hours her partially clothed body was found floating in Lake Stanley Draper. Her murderer has yet to be found.

@themeaningoflife38 Actually, in many cases it is a felony in Oklahoma. If the prostitution occurs online or within 1,000' of a church or school it is a felony.

Also, the hookers are targeted for arrest 5x more often than the Johns in Oklahoma.

hey guess what, if it was legalized they would have a brothel where it is a safe environment to conduct thier business and they wouldnt be murdered without a trace. By making it illegal you push them outside society and leave them to fend for themselves and murders happen.  You dont see girls at the Bunny ranch getting murdered. Legalization is a good idea. Prostituion will one day be legal in many more states then just one, as it should be.

They will still be in control of a abusive pimp and with that kind of efficiency they would have plenty of money for drugs and the pimps themselves could increase drug trafficking substantially . This is the problem with it being as organized as it can get, someone can't even imagine the problems it would cause being legal, especially someone as narrow minded as yourself.
