@MOLERAT33:It was even more exciting when Anderi Zyuzin scored the only goal (in OT) in game 4 against Dallas that tied the series. It was in 98.

randy hahn still gets as excited!
-
@danynumero6 Irbe was suspended in Game 5 or 6 for an intentional slash on one of the Flames players
-
Ray Whitney is still scoring!

@ericthegoalie31 oh and hell yes GO SHARKS!!
-
@ericthegoalie31 oh ok I get it now. Thanks man

@INDLIS And then in 2008 they met again, this time in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs (like in 1995) and the series went to game 7 and the Sharks won and eliminated the Flames.

@danynumero6 -- Irbe played at the beginning of this series and did well enough to win, but Calgary won games 3, 4 and 5 and Irbe's play was not very good in those games, and with the Sharks facing elimination in game 6 at home, coach Constantine went with Flaherty (who he coached in the IHL in Kansas City also) and Flaherty played well in that game and won it to force game 7 in Calgary, and thus Flaherty got the start in game 7 also. GO SHARKS!

Calgary got their revenge in 2004 when the Sharks were able to made it to round 3 for the first time.

What the fuck is going on?
San Jose has been my favorite since the '93 season.

How come Flaherty was playing in this game instead of Irbe?

Don't recall.

This quite a turnaround for the Sharks this year huh. Theyre the best team in the league. They have never been the best before.
