  • Thank you for this informative video. My husband has been on the Incivik, Peg-inerferon and Ribaviirin treatment for 2 weeks now. Because of the severe confusion, disorientation and fatigue symptoms he is experiencing he came close to quitting twice already. We spoke to his doctor who convinced him to stay on. Can anyone offer some advice on how to perhaps diminish these very difficult symptoms?

  • @Kritifile

Actually HCV has no symptoms! This is why it is called the silent epidemic. Most symptoms are from liver disease progression caused by HCV, not HCV itself.

HCV doesn't have the potential to lead to liver cancer, liver disease does.

  • It seems that HCV is more dangerous now than before treatment. Isn't it strange that HCV symptoms are the same as Peg-Inerferon and Ribavirin?

Why do those who clear have as much chance of liver cancer as those who don't when both have had combo treatment?

Recent research says that some people are resistant, people not virus, to treatment.
