Excelsior Springs MO part 1

I was told by a fellow YTer that lives in Excelsior Springs MO that I did not say the town or state correctly. I hope I did not offend anyone else. I am not from there & am sure I have not pronounced a lot of cities & state correctly =)
Dave & I went to Excelsior Springs MO. What a nice town to visit.
Excelsior Springs, Missouri was founded in 1880 upon the site of a mineral water spring after settlers discovered its medicinal qualities. Eventually 20 springs bubbling out four distinct varieties of water gave Excelsior Springs the rightful claim of having the world's greatest group of mineral waters. The particularly unusual feature of the distinguished group lies in the fact that it includes two of the six world's known iron-manganese springs.

@daronlova13 I have lived all over the USA because my dad was Navy & I am sure I do not say the names of places I have been the correct way. I have lived in MO for 10 years & have heard it pronounced a few different ways. I really try to say it the correct way.

I hope I did not offend you. My family is from New York & I have been told I do not say that right =O

Part 2 is coming up now. It seems the press did not like this water being used to heal people & put in a bad new article so people stopped coming to the town. Back in the 60's & before they had thousands of people coming in from all over.

I've been there many times... we stayed there a few years back when my brother and I went to the Halloween Haunt at Worlds of Fun.

I used to stay there when I was down for work but later started staying in the city to be closer to where I was working. I liked to walk over to the Wabash BBQ from the Elms and have dinner there.

We have natural springs near where we live at here in Florida. Don't kill Irene, Dave. Life with Irene isn't that bad. :P Breakfast looked yummy. I guess the water taste good according to Dave. :P Outings are nice to do as long as it isn't to hot out. :P

Awesome day for checking things out. Looked like a goood breakfast! The building that was just a box with no windows reminded me of a bowling alley, or maybe a gym? The inside of the building @ 6:35 with all the windows was so cool looking. great architecture.

Outings can be fun. It looks like it was a great day of exploring. I have to admit, though, that I didn't know water came in that many different flavors. I've always thought of it as just water, aka H2O.

i LOVE a road trip!! .. =D .. looks like a great day too! love that BLUE sky!! . =D .. the elms looks like a beautiful buidling on the outside. i like the windows! but i wouldn't want to clean them! LOL .. ;D .. Ooo, breakfast looks yummie! dude, what is up with the square windowless building? .. o_O .. oh, the mineral water place is very cool. love the inside. especially the light fixtures! very cool! .. =) .. pretty flowers! .. =)
