Mulu National Park is UNESCO World Heritage site that contains 529 sqkm of untouched rainforest surrounded by two mountain ranges and the pristine jungled border of western Brunei. The park contains 17 different rainforest communities that supports an astonishing array of plants and animals. The most fascinating aspect of the park, however, is below ground which lies one of the world's most extensive networks of cave passages stretching over 130 km. Among them is Deer Cave, with the world's largest cave passage.
