Presented by Farm Fresh To You, Capay Tomato is an heirloom tomato tasting and music festival that takes place on our farm in Capay, 30 minutes Northwest of Davis and 1 hour North of the Bay Area. The casual farm setting with old growth oak trees providing shade and hay bail seating is ideal for enjoying the live bluegrass music and ripe, mid-summer tomatoes.

This years Capay Tomato will take place on Saturday, July 10th. The event starts at 5pm, but camping guests can check in at 4pm. Activities, such as farm tours, trailer rides and art activities will be going from 5pm-6pm. At 6pm, the tomato tasting will take place. Live bands will play from 7pm-11pm. Guests can bring picnics. Local wine will be available for purchase by the glass or bottle and sandwiches, plates and homemade popsicles will be available for purchase.

A silent auction will take place at the event to benefit The Kathleen Barsotti Non-Profit for Sustainable Agriculture (KBNP). Our 2010 non-profit scholarship recipient will be introduced at the event. Kathy founded Capay Organic and Farm Fresh To You she was an innovative farmer and entrepreneur she was also one of the first farmers to introduce heirloom tomatoes in Northern California. • This was our first time at the Tomato Festival. We had a great time & plan to come back this year with friends. That's myself & my wife in the foreground at 3:05 listening to the music. This year we'll camp. Always look forward to receiving our box.
