Internationally-recognised industrial designer Ross Lovegrove combines manufacturing innovations with a visionary flair to make products which are environmentally friendly with a sleek and organic aesthetic. He is a pragmatic designer known for the first Sony Walkman and the Louvre's sanitary facilities, but also a maverick idealist envisioning solar powered cars that park in the air and double-up as street lamps. Hear Ross Lovegrove speak about his inspiration, motivation and achievements that sustain him as one of the world's leading industrial designers.
The "car" is now outdated, it is essentially a rogue transport device used by alienated cattle stock consumers for oil corporation profiteering. Ross is a visionary and will find it hard to get backing from governments bent on capitalist ideals, but once the collective mind set has changed there will be no stopping him.

It's a flawed concept. Good that he is concerned with the future, but he is stuck inside his own way of looking at things - and the desire to have all embrace his ideas.
P.S. What's the intercourse gesture at around 1:17?

This guy has to stop perscribing how to live and begin telling us about the future ..the future might be impractical since it will cost less and use more energy.
We will be luxurious since energy will be cheap in the future. I would think we will be so efficient that we can waste and like it.
