I this video essay I am trying to convey the clash between the alienating aspect of modernity and the artistic dimension of the human nature. I place the delicate choreography of the nude dancer, reminiscent of the ancient art of Origami against the cold metallic background of a corrugated aluminum door of a garage., The film is based on the shapes created by the Taiwanese artist-performer Susu Shuling Shih. I have filmed with a low res Fuji camera in the studio of o friend in Southern Taiwan. As software I have used programs like Sony Vegas Pro 8 and Shake. Many thanks to Altai Murat for handling the Shake software.
