@kylaxcry i never said it had ill intent, i have fought and competed in TKD for 9 yrs, i even competed in the US open, and for the most part fighters do it so judges can acknowledge that they are scoring points.

@273631 It' not for "count my point", it just an impression for "I got a point, yeah". There is no bad meaning or insult in that movement. Most of the Turkish Teams has some move for gaining a point.

I just wish someone would get smart in the ring and just CUTT [kick] his ass... No taking anything away from him good fighter w/ alot of energy makes a killer combo. But dude cant believe he won 2011 worlds like this. spinning spinning spinning.
actually u dont have to raise your hands they do it to say they made a point (but if the judges didnt count the point their really is no reason to raise your hand) and plus i have a red belt in jui jutsu and a black belt in TKD and both have helped me out equally so no one martial art is better than the other
