The "aspirated consonants" - those that have an "H" following them.. jh, dh, gh, th, ph, etc. ..Still presented in a messy way.

The pattern here is that you can imagine the main element from the original letter always being kept, and then either doubled, or joined, or with the "bound-vertical line" added.

Sometimes it is easier to remember the print version of the Dev letter, sometimes the handwritten version. So the gh here, for instance looks more like the handwritten one.. the "other" th and dh have been left out on purpose for now.

I rely on the internet as my only source for knowledge regarding the potent programming language from the city of immortals. The videos that you have uploaded are very useful learning tools. Your method of teaching is clear & understandable!

I am working on an archive of Sanskrit Devanagari Translit & Grammar Software, Vids, PDFs, JPGs, MP3s, URLs & etc. It is by the grace of individuals like you that I may continue to expand the educational resources available. Thank You.

  • this is brilliant! I've been looking for ages for tips like these for learning the letters. Thanks!
