I love this song very much. It's about the dreams I cherish most: those in which someone I've lost comes to me and, despite my confusion, blesses me with a very real sense of their living presence. For Dad, Mom and Ken.

In January of 2009, i had an upcoming performance that I wasn't excited about. Then, on the Thursday morning prior to my Sunday night gig, I was listening to the album "Live At Massey Hall 1971 by Neil Young" and was struck by an inspiration: "Write 10 songs by Sunday and perform them at the gig."

I returned to my desk and within half an hour the first song was written These are those songs.
