The FuzzHugger Algal Bloom is an extremely natural, organic fuzz. Very harmonically rich, and sounds wonderful with chords. It can clean up quite nicely for a gritty overdrive by using the Trim control. Turn the gain knob up for a hint of scramble & splatter!

  • how does it sounds with your band? i love the texture and clarity of this pedal, just wondering if still the same on a band situation..thanks

  • @bigskymind81 It's one of the few fuzzes I've played that sits well in the band mix. You don't get lost or anything. It sounds great!

  • @TrendyhendyPD Absolutely. All of Tom's work is top-notch, he really takes a lot of pride in his pedals. I've been gigging with my Algal Bloom for the past year with absolutely zero problems.
