The UK really was the right time and place in 91-92 for breakbeats. So many years on and one of the few regrets I have is letting go of all my tunes in '96 that until that time had span the whole hardcore/breakbeat era. While there are definitely some gifted producers in play today, nothing touches the energy and wonder of this seminal period in British music history like the birth of drum & bass did way back when!
And so much of it still sounds so good to this day!!

Another incredible tune from Reinforced. They defined the scene in 92. MANIX are sublime. Love it. Always.
