Here's my take on the automatic melon farm for Minecraft. While some use switches, and B.U.D. switches, I used what I call "a poor man's b.u.d switch."

@thobadku Thanks for the tip! The more I look at the setup, the more changes I'm making to it, lol. I made more "hidden" version last night but didn't want to put up a third video of just this dumb farm.

Well, it is a brilliant concept, but in the 1.1 update, melons no longer need tilled soil to grow. I guess you can keep tilling the soil, to keep the concept alive, but there is no need for it now...
