Tibet shows lower levels of human development relative to other Provinces, but it's position in 1949 was much worse than most other parts of China because of the negative effects of the brutal feudal theocracy. We should rejoice that it is now catching up.

I didn't claim that "Tibet has high human development indexes." I said human development indicators show "vast improvements."
It is pointless to dispute something that I didn't say. Are you disputing what I did say? All the facts are easily available online.

The wealthiest provinces in China are Shandong, Guangdong and Jiangsu. Tibet is one of the lowest. Is this not a fact?
Im not saying Tibet should be at the top... every country has economic divides, including mine, but its just wrong to say Tibet has high human development indexes

The Chinese regime continues to accuse the Dalai Lama of being a terrorist. They have absolutely no proof of that whatsoever. In fact, he has always stressed he has nothing against the Chinese people or Chinese culture
Personally I think its a mistake to make independance the masin issue. My country- the United Kingdom recognises Tibet as part of China (wehatever the rights and wrongs of that) but we have strong issues with the endemic human rights abuses, not just in Tibet but across China
