Daytona USA 2001 music -- "Greatfall in the Sky" (Rin Rin Rink theme)

Also known as simply "Daytona USA" in the US, Daytona USA 2001 was a sort of update of the franchise for the Dreamcast, featuring a few new cars and tracks. While commonly regarded as one of the better console versions of Daytona, there are still some who claim the game still doesn't top the original for the Saturn, mainly due to its overly sensitive controls.

This is the music that played while you raced on the Rin Rin Rink course in Daytona USA for the Dreamcast. I've always found it an enjoyable tune because of its catchy mix of pop and a jazzy saxophone melody.

Who composed this? Well, I'm not sure, but for some reason it screams Keiichi Sugiyama to me.

UPDATE: I've changed the name of this video to reflect the name given to this song in the recently released 4-Disc "Let's Go Away: the Video Game Daytona USA Anniversary Box", which is probably the first released album to contain this song AND give it a name.

This version was really hard. Sadly, I didn't give it much of a chance when I sold my DC in 2005 with 70 games >< I still have a few key games though and a console.

wow ...this bring back lots of memories. i used to play this game over and over just to listen to the ending music theme. the music in this game was really great on this game along with MSR.
