A look at the current situation in Lebanon. 200 have died in communal fighting in past 2 mths, and sporadic fighting continues in Beirut. The rest of the country is controlled by Govt troops or sectarian militia. All major groups are represented in the ten member cabinet of national unity, including Sunni Moslems (PM Rashid Karami), Shi'ite Moslems (Nabih Berri), Druze (Walid Jumblatt), Maronite Christians (Pierre Gemayel) and Christians. They are restructuring the Army to include all major sects. Syria still controls the area north east of the Shouf Mts, and Israel the southern part of the country.

Briigtte Gabriel is so full of crap. If you complain about propaganda then you must complain about her. She never once mention Sabra & Shatila. If you dont know what that is then look it up. Also from the lebanese christans i have talked to, seem to hate Israel but yes they are glad they helped out. Let me add a little fact, Israel did not help because they are compassionate the helped out for their own political gains so they did not give a shit about saving christians.

This asshole reporter is full of shit. He is making it sound like Israel is a bad guy but the fact is, thank God for Israel. If it wasn't for them helping the Lebanese Christians, they would have been toasted. This is typical old propaganda.
The Lebanese Christians I talk with are very thankful for Israel.
PS Read "Why They Hate" by Brigitte Gabriel to see who is evil and who is not.
