I dunno what things you've been reading but what you say is just hilarious.I don't see any reason why a bone couldn't last 65 millions of years. And after all fossilizing is not a very common thing, only in very rare cases bones fossilize otherwise they just decompose. After that they're more like a rock. So you say a rock can't last millions of years? Last thing, what I know nuclear waste doesn't last forever.
