  • Nice video, its a really beautifull weapon, and also a piece of history.

    Thanks and keep doing vids.

  • Thanks for the feedback.. about half of our comments are negative, so it's always good to hear from people who are interested in them..

  • Well I've read one of your comments, and I am inclined to feel the same way about you

  • at least you stand for the 2nd amendment ill give you that

  • FYI

at 0:20 he says non-trapdoor but a gun shot happens over 'non'

and at 3:27 he clearly says it again

  • Wow i love this style i want one!

  • i have one of these, except i put on a 4-12x40mm scope, these are beautiful gun.

  • well, unless the flash hider has been swaped out for a more modern one, it's not a 1966 production AR15. You'd be off a few years. Yours has the "birdcage" style, while a true 1966 would have the 3-prong "duckbill" style flash hider. The serial # should be in the 5600-8250 range... anything over 8250 was 1967+. I know this because I own a REAL 1966 SP1 with serial # 5800. Still fine rifle ya got there, just not as advertised :) Tell us the serial # range, that'll date the receiver correctly

  • ey could these rifle shoot 5.56 rouns or just .223?

  • A true icon of American Military history. I just wish i had one!

  • That is a vey nice rifle, I have a lot of love for the old colts :)

  • yep its the real mccoy

  • Cool!

  • What range is the serial number?

  • These early AR's must be getting old because I'm starting to like them! That's a sure sign of pending antiquity.
