Julian Assange declares that 'history will win'

In a Web chat with readers of Britain's Guardian newspaper, the WikiLeaks founder addressed the outlook for his site, declaring that its future "depends on you." NBC's Brian Williams reports.

@all of you arguing here.. I have seen zeitgeist I dont completely agree with it. Yes it does some brainwashing indeed. But it has some truth too. ASSange's Wikileaks however abused these mechanisms of freedom, when he published vaste amounts of military logs and confidential diplomatic cables. There is nothing of importance, but sources become endangered and peaceful diplomatic relations become volontarly sabotaged. That's plain and simple terrorism. Not journalism.

@matcotech I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you are obviously brainwashed: ASSange et al. doesn't fight for you. They fight for their publicity and misguided ideology with carpet bombing - like any ordinary terrorist. Believe it or not, but the organization won't publicly expose banking documents of significance.
