Holy freakin' [deity of choice placed here]!!! Twenty-eight years ago today!! What a freakin' great band! Sadly, I never saw 'em, but got the news from a great local guitarist named Brian Lovely. I used to run sound for his band The Secret. They covered "Sex Drive" back in the early '90s. God Bless The Embarassment!!!
Ah, ok. I know exactly where it is now. Does it still get used as a performance space? Trying to remember what, if anything, is currently occupying that building.
very garage-y...in a good way i guess. pretty good playing actually. at first it was really hard to tell that the sound in the beginning was the organ..nice, overdriven sounds.
