Darien High School Basketball Team 1975-76

Varsity Basketball Team for 1975-76 Season. It was an exciting season and I never missed a game. A really cool thing about this movie was that I caught my buddy Ev Fullam #15, on film, scoring his only HS career basket!

This must be Joe V - #1 fan. I still talk about how you and your cousin towed my car out of the ditch on the way to a game. It was good to see Ev make that shot - he could play. Any idea where this game was played? It was a good crowd.

does anyone know who the head coach of the Darien team was this year?

The head coach that year was Dick Percudani. I believe he was also head coach for the previous 2 or 3 seasons also.

I'm great. It wasn't New Canaan because we lost that game. That I do remeber. I am pretty sure it is at Fairfield Warde (then Andrew Warde HS), which is ironic beacuse my son is a senior there. He doesn't play basketball, he is a wrestler. Also, Percudani went on to become a scout/GM for the Phoenix Suns. He died a few years ago. He was from Fairfield, so I went to the funeral. There were a number of Suns players and coaches there. He did well for himself.
