  • .In "la main coupée", he has an even temperament and is quite objective, in his description of military operations in ww1 in north of france, always going into details, describing daily life on the front.

  • I'm not a great poetry-reader, nevertheless i'm a reader of b.c's novels. " L'homme foudroyé " , in which he wrote his "notes for the unknown reader" at the end of each chapter, is one of my favorite novel. In these notes he went into explanations on minor facts and details about his readings, his knowledge of scientific and historical matters
