Dr Jerald Dirks is our guest on today's show, Dr. Dirks is a former minister (deacon) of the United Methodist Church and revert to Islam.

He holds a Master's degree in Divinity from Harvard University and a Doctorate in Psychology from the University of Denver.

Author of "The Cross and the Crescent: An Interfaith Dialogue between Christianity and Islam" (2001), and "Abraham: The Friend of God" (2002).

He has published over 60 articles in the field of clinical psychology, and over 150 articles on Arabian horses.

That theory of the "JEDP" began to break down in the 1970s, as new discoveries were made. The Qur'an says, "It is He Who has sent down the Book to you with truth, confirming what came before it. And He sent down the Taurat and the Injeel." If they came from God, is God not able to keep them from corruption? And if the Qur'an is supposed to confirm them, does the Qur'an then confirm something we can't even trust? Even Jesus quoted from Genesis. Was Jesus quoting as an authority something false?

My question is, why didn't he leave religion all together when he found out the bible was bunk?

And THIS is one of the reasons I would consider about any other version more credible than the the KJV. Another reason is that the KJV was edited as a political decision to compromise with the Puritans. I like the NIV.

These people are paid money by the " Christian Right " to sit in little Basements and throw trash at Muslims thru the internet.

Trust me Brothers and Sisters, They are being paid money by the Christian Right , who are worried because of the tremendous number of Christians Reverting to Islam.
