Direct reason is to appeal to rail enthusiasts to visit Wolsztyn at May 1st, 2010, on the occasion of the annual steam locomotive parade. KOLEJWIZJA, das Internet-TV des polnischen Eisenbahn-Museums-Dachverbands PFK, mit einem Bericht über das Dampflok-Bw Wolsztyn aus der ungewohnten Perspektive einer Handhebel-Draisine. Direkter Anlass ist, zum Besuch der Dampflok-Parade am 1.5.2010 aufzurufen.

You might also call it hand pump trolley or hand pump car... Draisine is the French and German expression (polonized as drezyna) and derives from the inventor, a German Mr. Drais who had been living in the French-German border region of Baden at the Rhine river.

As to our hats, the one with Golden signs is actually a present given by a former Chairman of Polish narrow gauge lines, but who would know that ... :)

Finally, I found out what these things are called. I have been searching for the past 6 years to know that this is a hand pump draisine. Best part of this video are the guys hats, and 4:30 to 4:50
