Overland Park city traffic cameras captured a few vehicle accidents in December when a light dusting of snow fell. With today's forecast of an inch to 1.5 inches, drive carefully, leave plenty of room between you and the next vehicle, and maintain a safe and reasonable speed.
Liebe AmerikanerInnen. Ihr habt da drüben auch kein "Physik-AUS-Knopf". Winterräder sollen helfen :P. God bless Europe :P with Wintertires...

wow people, learn how to drive..that's nothing..we get 10-20cm and sometimes more in Ottawa, Canada and I don't think our accident rates are that high in one "storm day" lol...winter tires would maybe help...or just learning how to keep distance, break before the last minute and keep your eyes on the road!!! LOL...common sense!

The pickup truck starts to slide at the bottom and gets hit by another car ... you just see the pickup truck making a sudden move to the left on the screen (when it's being hit).

@ownage1894 Oh, and BTW, Kansas does not do any vehicle inspections what-so-ever. There are some people driving around on some absolutely horrible tires. Lots of bald tires. Then you have the fools in summer only tires...your awesome Yaris driving skills are not going to overcome that one.

I moved from Michigan to Kansas City for a year and they are horrible drivers in the snow. They were closing schools for 2 inches on the ground and it took me over an hour to get to work because people were afraid to drive in 2 inches. In Michigan I have driven to work in 6 - 8 inches or more numerous times, and there was one time we had 15 inches dumped on us and I had to drive home in that. My kid loved constantly having snow days and she laughed at them in KC.

@RZEZZZ no it means they absolutly suck as driving in snow...i live in new hampshire and drive a toyota yaris with regular tires in wayy more snow than this, as long as theres clearence between top of snow and undercarage of my car I can drive safely. Its all about experience with driving in snow

For even more entertainment, experience Flagstaff AZ during the first snow of the year. Every freshman putz from Phoenix/Tucson with an SUV and who has never seen snow thinks that because they have four wheel drive they can drive normal speeds and stop normal distances. It's absolute mayhem.
