Actually, Hugo Boss was lost at sea, and is currently on the bottom of the Southern Ocean. The F-31/F-9A Skandia is still sailing.

and for those who keep saying that "those trimarans are not going to last at sea" well the Trimaran Banque Populaire just went around the world in 45 days, averaging 26.5 knots, and reaching 45 knots at times. Can you imagine any monohull staying together at those speeds? Meanwhile the Open 60 monohull Hugo Boss is still on the bottom - hasn't moved an inch.

@ProductionDesignrMAX haha i love hearing this one yeah we know the natural position of a multi is upside down but the natural position of a mono is the bottom of the ocean floor

ProductionDesigner: No one is stopping you from buying a conventional mono, but in doing so you must accept that cheaper, smaller boats will be able to overtake you without any effort. If you enjoys spending money on boats that cost more and offer less performance, then go right ahead and buy what you want; its your money.
