The Resonance House is an on-going project run by University of Kentucky students studying digital design studio under Greg Luhan, professor of architecture at the University of Kentucky. The Resonance House is a design-fabricate-assemble single-family residence located at 151 Old Georgetown Street in downtown Lexington. The students used an art to part approach that allows for digital fabrications of various components of the house. The goal of this approach was to develop a prototype house that boasts both low maintenance and high energy efficiency, something that is much needed in todays energy-observant world.
