What Cassandra Saw | Virgin Media Shorts 2008 shortlist

Quite by accident, Cassandra stumbles across the Bureau of Shadows the organisation responsible for making, measuring and resizing our shadows while were asleep.

Although the film was essentially a combined effort between film makers Karen and Liam the score was produced by Sam and Dan Burt while Gareth Lilley brought the Head of Department and narrator to life through the voiceovers. Working around other projects, it took them about a year to produce. It was shot on Liams seven-year-old digital camera with the novel feature of a battery compartment that wouldnt stay closed!
