I applaud his honesty when it comes to the new age of wrestling and the current staate of announcing. And this is before Cole . . . Poor Bob if he had to listen to him. I applaud his honesty and he has left many memories in the minds and hearts of many fans. Jim Ross is probably the last of the old time play-by-play announcers in the same class a Caudle and Solie. . . .

@lacaudle That is so awesome! You have a right to be proud. You have a true legend for a Grandfather, and a man I have admired for so long!

Bob Caudle was the first man I ever seen call a wrestling match and do an interview. Hearing his voice takes me back to when I was 7 and I used to sit in front of my TV on Saturday watching guys who would become legends. In my estimation, as a sheer wrestling play by play man, you don't get better than Mr. Caudle. Why can we not have more men in the Wrestling business (and I mean WRESTLING not Entertainment) like Bob Caudle?

Nobody could touch Caudle's NWA style . He is my personal favorite of all time. He was great in SME too.

I used to listen to Bob when I was a kid in Asheville, NC. He was the greatest.

Bob was a great announcer with an all time great job...he was the voice of Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling.
Rest in peace professional wrestling (1948-1985).
Bob Caudle is a legend to me, when i was a kid i saw him more than any other commentator in the business. I think he was a great commentator and he seemed very genuine. He just seemed like a great guy and really knew what he was doing.
