I was still a kid when I first heard this song; I don't even understand the lyrics but one thing that I knew then it made me feel good; I'm 51 years old,the melody is very inviting and my own kids who are successful in their own profession here in the Philippines loves the song too; that we plan to visit that green green grass- an open countryside, someday. The lyrics of the song is a good reminder to love life and try to Have A Life to what GOD intended it to be.

and i also had the same feeling when i came back home after 3 weeks in the psychiatry it was kind of a prison in there 4 me but 4 me it was reallity and i wasn't 2 get executed but i didn't touch the green grass of home but the wooden floor of my bedroom and my x box 360 controller i'm happy i'm still a live after those 3 weeks :)

when i die i allso want 2 get buried in the town where i grew up as a kid and if i nead 2 go b4 my mom i hope she comes as much as posible 2 my grave and i allso hope my sisters do the same and my stepdad i would do the same 4 them :) cus i'm planning 2 go live in an other town near by but not in this town but i would like 2 get buried over here and i hope they play the tom jones version of it on my funeral or this 1
