After the unveiling of the "The Bronze Fonz" statue in Milwaukee (August 19, 2008), most of all the original cast members of the telelvision show "Happy Days", hung out and got a nice preview of the new Happy Days musical. Video taken August 19, 2008 by momrocks2

  • Is that musical going on tour?

  • I'm not sure if they did or not. I know they have gone to other places though before.

  • This video is not at all a good representation of the the performers in the show. None of the staging is the same, and Felicia and Joey sounds FAR better live and when not singing with crappy music tracks.

  • Well, "the stage" was only for Henry Winkler and the rest of the original Happy Days actors because here in Wisconsin on that day, they unveiled The Fonz statue. So these people preformed a few songs from it...basically a promotion to see it at the preforming art center. Besides, this video was done on a digital camera as well, so I don't have the best sound quality either.

  • This guy isn't anything like the REAL fonzie.

  • I don't know, Henry Winkler (Fonzie)was there that day because it was being preformed for him, and Henry Winkler thought this guy played the character pretty good. I thought it was good, but the girl playing Pinky was way off.

  • @bug5047 It wasn't at a school. It was at the performing arts center. They have a small stage outside. Cast members to the original Happy Days series were there to see it. That was the day that the Fonzie statue was unveiled to the public in Milwaukee. Cast members that were there were Henry Winkler (the original Fonzie), Erin Moran (Joanie Cunningham), Anson Williams (Potsie), Tom Bosley before he passed away (Howard Cunningham), Marion Ross (Marion Cunningham), and Donny Most (Ralf Malph).

  • i saw that musical it was soo much fun! i loved it.

  • Yes, it is! I just saw it on Wednesday! ;) It was much better than I expected and the guy playing Fonzie was awesome! It's really hard to portray an iconic character like the Fonz but, he was really convincing.

  • My comment was aimed for those who were claiming Felicia and Joey as "off" and "pretty good". It wasn't so much meant about the quality of the video. ;) Joey and Felicia are what make this show amazing. They have an unbelievable chemistry and incorporate just enough of the original TV versions of the characters with their own interpretations. They don't just mimic the TV versions. Thanks for posting this!

  • ya he was pretty good for playing him he just wasn't the same but ya pinky was wayy off.
